Hi %%First Name%%,
The Note Pad recently produced video clips for Austereo as part of the radio network's promotion of the soon-to-be released movie Fame. The clips, which feature budding artists singing or dancing to the film's music, were uploaded to the radio station's website to attract visitors and reach prospective customers. I've attached a sample of the video and a screen shot of the FAME competition website as this is a great example of how video can be used in an integrated marketing campaign.
Members of the pro-audio and music industries can also use video to promote their business. Having the benefits of your products and services highlighted by well known engineers and artists via video is a powerful sales tool. Video clips featured on your website add a human face, are interactive and have strong impact on the visitor. Plus, when placed on other sites, they can drive prospective customers to your site.
Video clips combine the advantages of 'classic' TV advertising with the internet's most important characteristic, interactivity. They are an effective way to complement your marketing and communications activities. Contact The Note Pad to discuss how video can help you deliver the right messages to the right people. In recent months The Note Pad has also contributed to Pro Audio Asia magazine and CX magazine: The Waiting City - The first Australian feature film to be shot entirely in India is set for release in early 2010. The Waiting City, starring Radha Mitchell (Finding Neverland, Pitch Black) and Joel Edgerton (Star Wars: Episode II & III), is a mystical-infused love story set against the epic backdrop of Kolkata (Calcutta), India. Incorporating location and music recording in India, with the music production completed and the final film mix done in Sydney, this is a truly international film.
Bertha Brown - this funky new Melbourne bar has a state-of-the-art sound system designed by John O'Donnell from Funktion-One, to meet the rigorous demands of a diverse clientele. Located below the newly developed Melbourne Central YHA in the heart of the CBD, the bar is a popular place to hang out for international backpackers, suits from nearby office blocks and everyone in between. For bar owners Dan Sheehan and Tash Colangelo, the aim was to get the right sound system in place from the start.
Audio By Numbers - is a new Melbourne-based manufacturing and consultancy business specialising in acoustic treatment and design. Although in its infancy, the business has attracted customers from film and music production studios, hi-fi and home-theatre installations and live venues with its Acoustic Horizon range of wall modules and bass traps. Business owner Keijo Sandvik says the company provides high performance, mass-produced affordable acoustic trap systems for the local market, with a view to export in the future.
